PRODUCT ASSURANCE ENGINEER – ABOUT THE ROLE The candidate will report to the head of the Quality department and will lead all activities related to PA aspects within opto-mechanical systems for space, lasercom and defense projects.

Acting as the primary point of contact for both Customers and Suppliers/Sub-Contractors across all PA disciplines, he/she will be an integral part of the project team and will functionally report to the Program Manager.

WHAT YOU'LL GET TO DO   Establish and maintain the PA Plan in line with project PA Requirements, including for Sub-Contractors Co-ordinate all PA activities in accordance with the PA Plan Manage Critical Items and maintain the Critical Item List (CIL) Identify and manage MIPs/KIPs Manage NCRs, RFDs, RFWs, and ESA Alerts Prepare and maintain the Qualification Status List, PA Progress Reports, and PA Action Lists Prepare and contribute to Failure Modes, Effects, and Criticality Analysis (FMECA) Release and manage PA documents (CIL, NCRs, QSR, Alert Status List, RFW/RFD, MIP/KIP Reports, Cleanliness & Contamination Control Plan, etc. )

Plan and perform PA Audits Review materials, parts, and processes to ensure compliance with PA and technical requirements Ensure adherence to Contamination & Cleanliness best practices Witness manufacturing and testing activities, ensuring quality control data and records are maintained Chair NRBs, TRRs, and TRBs Provide support to Qualification and Acceptance Campaigns and certify the achievements Prepare and attend MRRs, ensuring lessons learned are formalized, capitalized, and promoted Support and attend project meetings and Design Reviews (PDR, CDR) Verify the qualification of processes employed for the project Prepare the EIDP   YOU'LL BRING THESE QUALIFICATIONS FOR A PRODUCT ASSURANCE ENGINEER University degree in technical fields 2-5 years of experience in Product Assurance and/or Quality Assurance in Space projects Knowledge of the ECSS standards Management and technical skills of high quality and reliable products Pragmatic and logical approach to problem-solving Ability to work in multi-disciplinary, multi-language, multi-cultural team Good communication skills knowledge of the English Language Proactive Skills   THESE QUALIFICATIONS WOULD BE A NICE TO HAVE   Experience in managing Sub-Contractors Experience in space Opto-mechanical Systems   ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Contract: permanent Location: Sarcedo - Vicenza Italia Working time: full time, hybrid as per the company internal policy Benefit: Company Gym access
