Product Care Sales Representative - Milan, Italy (Hybrid) As a Product Care Sales Representative (PCR) here at Illumina, you will be working in a fast-paced team where you will be engaged in a variety of projects, responsible for the sales of service contract products. You will be dealing directly with customers to ensure we offer the right solution for their needs.
Please note that this is a hybrid role to be based partly on-site in Milan, Italy. It is essential that the successful candidate has fluent language skills in both English and Italian, with additional Spanish language skills also being highly preferred.

Why you You will have previous experience working within a sales role where you have been proactively contacting existing and/or prospect customers. A scientific background is not essential for this role; however, we will consider candidates from a scientific background that are enthusiastic to pursue a career within sales.
It is essential to speak fluently in both English and Italian language, and highly desirable to have Spanish language skills in addition.
Responsibilities: Managing the customer sales process for Italy and Spain based accounts, using our CRM database to contact existing customers via phone and email. Meets sales targets and is responsible for accurate forecasting and maintaining lead, customer details and up-to-date opportunity information in CRM database. Engages with existing customers and qualified sales leads, guiding customers to the Illumina service products that best meet needs, coordinating with internal resources to address customer questions or objections, providing budgetary pricing, creating and submitting individualized quotes and closing the sales process through the point of order receipt. Works collaboratively with the wider sales team in Italy and Spain. Establishes and maintains strong, positive, productive relationships with customer accounts including product end-users, management and purchasing contacts. Track and report on all activities to managers. Potential to do occasional field visits as required to help advance opportunities. Requirements: Fluency in English and Italian essential. Fluency in Spanish highly desired. Proven successful sales experience with a technical product line a plus but other sales experience would be considered. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills. Goal oriented with a focus on achieving team sales performance metrics. Detail oriented and ability to focus in a fast-paced environment.
