Position SummaryINTERNSHIP/Junior Product Development Engineer (M/F) – Lainate, Italy Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the Junior Product Development Engineer will be part of the engineering team that develops connector products for the harsh environments found in transportation and industrial applications.

The candidate will strongly contribute to the design, analysis, and manufacturing support activities, working in multidisciplinary project teams.

Essential ResponsibilitiesDevelop drawings and support drawings and document maintenanceSupport codification of new products in the systemExecute feasibility studies and cost calculationsSupport product portfolio optimization projects with cost and technical analysisPrepare customer support technical tools: product presentations, application notes, configuration tools, update product literature as neededParticipate in multi-functional projects to improve customer satisfaction, quality, lead time, manufacturing costsPosition RequirementsRequired In pursuit of or completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical or Electrical or ElectronicsKnowledge and strong understanding of mechanical and electrical engineering principles, technical drawingKnowledge of CAD system (Creo preferred)Excellent knowledge of MS-Office packageHands-on, highly self-motivated/self-initiated with innovative thinkingExcellent written and oral communication skillsItalian mother tongue with very good EnglishPreferred Experience with 3D modelling, direct or parametricInterest in Additive Manufacturing/Rapid Prototyping technologiesExperience applying Geometric Design and Tolerancing methodsUnderstanding of creating and checking Engineering Prints and Documents
