At the same time, the company works under exclusive worldwide license with Dsquared2, Just Cavalli and Koché for the product research and development, the production, and the omnichannel distribution of the collections.
**Responsibilities**:
- Assistance given to the Head of Knitwear Product Development for proto and sample development, launch of prova request /protos and final samples, make sure protos and collection samples are delivered on time, as requested
- Work close with Design, source yarns / special accessories, order and collect color cards/knit swatches
- Develop and constantly update work sheets (overview + yarn cards + launches to laboratories), codify styles, create product specs in PLM (proto launch + fit notes), enter DIBA in system, launch protos and final samples
- Participate in fitting sessions with design, take fit notes and evaluate any changes that need to be made to the final product.
Communicate accurately and in details fitting information to factories
- Shipment and invoicing follow up - invoice approval and final collection costs recap
- Ongoing support of actual suppliers with regular meetings and visits to follow the sample development.
- Assist in filling in cost lists to finalize prices.
- Involvement in the setting up of the showroom for price meeting /workshop/sales/ pre-production fittings
- Order knit panels for sale color cards
- When collection is in house check final samples - check labels are correct in each sample - follow up of eventual amendment of garments in the atelier or at outside factories exit list / sales info.
- Support in the presentation of the collection to commercial team, manage special new openings requested by merchandising.
- Help in pre-production fitting
Competencies and abilities needed:
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Fluency in English
- PLM, Stealth
- 5 years of experience in similar roles
