**PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT / PRODUCT VALIDATION MANAGER, CONSUMER ELECTRONICS

**Roles & Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for coordinating team activities and taking the ownership of project execution

- Expertise in Product development or Product validation cycle of consumer electronics products

- Define electrical validation methodologies for PCB and different subsystems by working with the system integration EE team and technology teams.

- Define and track detailed test plans for the different modules and top-level systems.

Validation coverage includes SoC, low-speed signal interface (I2C, I2S, PDM. . . etc), I/O signals, high-speed differential interface, electrical performance of subsystems such as optical sensors, microphones, cameras, battery, charger, and RF.

- Drive and execute validation to meet key deadlines and priority goals.

- Own execution, interpretation, and reporting of electrical validation work status and results.

- Clearly document test results.

Keep track of bugs encountered and fixed

- Support system bring up and debug activities

- Clearly communicate test plans and results

- Basic experience in android, iOS testing and different debugging tools in Android.

- Should be experienced in leading team, delegating work, monitoring work progress, KPI tracking and Status Reporting to customer

- Experience in all phases of Software Test Life Cycle, Agile Methodology

- Anchor status meetings within team and with customer

- Connect a development team, testing team, a group of product managers who design the business requirement, list of other engineers like system engineers, and stakeholders.

- Responsible for cross-functional liaisons that build bridges between teams, departments, and orgs through relationships

- Should be responsible for identifying and resolving dependencies, adhering to quality standards, escalating schedule risks, identifying mitigation options

- Should be ready to extend the responsibility in Hiring Process, Team Building, Careers & Training Development, Knowledge Management, Team Mentoring

**Required Skills (Technical Competency)**:

- Expertise in Electrical System Verification for consumer electronics

- Experience with the definition of validation test plans and writing detailed electrical validation SOPs.

- Experience owning significant areas of electrical validation

- Experience executing electrical validation on bench.

Familiarity with lab equipment - oscilloscopes, DMM, e-load, power supply, power analyzer, spectrum analyzer, signal generator, temp chamber.

- Understanding of board schematics and board layout.

Ability to find proper probe locations and identify potential points of failure in the DUT.

- Working knowledge of Python, and LabView for data processing and automation.

- Analyzing test execution results and create Defect Report and Test Execution Status report.

- Proficiency in any project tracking tools like Azure and JIRA.

- Should be able to review and update user stories to write test scenarios

**Desired Skills**:

- Experience in project estimation and proposal submission to customer

- Knowledge of DevOps pipeline and production environment.

- Board and system level validation and debugging experience, FW verification experience.

- System and Subsystem power verification.

- Experience with VNA and ENA, logic analyzer, signal analyzer, battery simulator, data acquisition device (DAQ), audio precision analyzer, audio amp measurement filter

- Experience with mobile technology (smartphone, watches, AR/VR) is a plus
