PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT PURCHASING SPECIALISTJob ResponsibilitiesThe Product Development Purchasing Specialist will support the activities in NPD (New Product Development) components sourcing tracking, with a focus on timing costs. Main Responsibilities:Timing cost tracking on NPD on assigned projects. Sourcing process starting tracking in collaboration with Strategic Sourcing, organizing technical alignment meetings with suppliers, and supporting commodities on tracking the tooling construction ensuring the overall project timing. Cooperate with Strategic Sourcing (Commodity Purchasing), Product Management, RD, Quality, Operations, Marketing and Design to drive the global sourcing projects. Lead cost reduction activities across different commodities. Implement product or process changes regarding assigned projects, together with RD, Strategic Sourcing, and Manufacturing. Support supplier selection of Strategic Sourcing (Commodity Purchasing) or Operational Purchasing / Material Management on assigned products, especially towards Best-Cost-Countries (Sourcing, LCC). Job ProfileQualifications and knowledge:Bachelor Degree/Master Degree in Engineering or Management. At least 2 years of professional experience in Purchasing / Product Development department. Technical knowledge of production processes or curiosity on "how it's made" for components and/or products. Good communication skills. Good project management skills. Fluent in English.
