Main purpose of the job The Product Development Specialist is responsible for the design control of the Engineering Office product and component designs, in accordance with the requirements of the quality management system and of the mandatory regulations.

Main responsibilities and duties oDefine Device Desing Input from User Requirements oParticipate in the concept generation process for products/components in accordance with the relevant requirements oTest management of product/component concepts oResponsible for the Design Verification Validation, ensuring that the Device satisfies Design Input oResponsible for ensuring Design Traceability oParticipate in the Design Transfer of the Device to Production department, providing appropriate technical support oManage the Design Documentation of the Device, supporting the creation of the Design History file oERP Data management of components and products (BOM) Key Competencies / Qualifications /Skills oBSc/MSc in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering or a related field.

oStrong team-working, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills oAbility to work in a highly regulated environment oBasic experience using CAD software (SolidWorks for 3D modeling, AutoCAD for 2D drawings) oKnowledge of ERP software oKnowledge of Office package oKnowledge of ISO 20695 oKnowledge of ISO 13485 oGood spoken and written English
