What does a typical working day look like for a Product Development Specialist? You have to promote the full range of varieties Rijk Zwaan on the Italian market in Veneto, Lombardia, Piemonte, and Liguria.

Next to supporting the existing market share, you develop new opportunities by increasing contact with growers and setting up commercial trials.

By using your technical and sales knowledge and your communication skills, you link with key partners and prove the added value of the Rijk Zwaan varieties in the defined area.

To ensure product development and demand generation, you support local marketing activities.

You work in close collaboration with colleagues and play an important role in the launch of new varieties. We are seeking a Product Development Specialist with:At least a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture and a background in vegetable production with knowledge of the market crops. Minimum 5 years' relevant experience working in sales/promotion in the horticulture business. Based in the Piacenza area or in the Verona area. Furthermore, you are a real team worker, a strong communicator, have lots of initiative and enthusiasm, and your effective interpersonal skills help you gain other people's support.

You are proactive, take initiatives easily, and have a commercial and client-focused approach.

You are strong at negotiating and willing to travel extensively in the defined area.

You are fluent in speaking and writing both in Italian and English. What can you expect from us?
