Product Development Technical Data Specialist Apply locations: London Time type: Full time Posted on: Posted 2 Days Ago Job requisition id: R_775134 Reports to: Shoes Senior Planning and Control Officer Location: Scandicci, Florence, Jimmy Choo Florence Direct Reports: none Job Purpose: The person in this role will be part of the PD team and will work closely with the team to ensure the proto/samples technical sheets are issued correctly and within the given deadline. The person will be involved in all the collection development meetings in Florence in order to be aware of all the changes and requirements to have full visibility of the details that need to be collected and where these should be sourced from. They will be responsible for obtaining and gathering all the information essential to fill the technical sheet to develop any prototypes or samples. The person will also gain knowledge of the standard collection rules and codes and will be able to fill the main technical sheet data autonomously. They will liaise with the design team (JC London), raw material team, production TS teams (JC Florence), and the external manufacturers and suppliers. Main responsibilities include: Achieving and filling all the necessary information (sketches, pictures, codes, details, etc. ) for the development of each collection. Dealing with the other teams in JC Florence and London to obtain the information and data needed to fill in the technical sheets. Achieving enough autonomy to work with main technical sheet data independently. Attending Development alignment meetings. Being available to cover other development-related activities. Competencies and Experience Required: High attention to detail. Familiarity with data management and high accuracy in collecting and filling information. Time management skills. Critical thinking abilities. Good communication skills, both written and verbal. Shoes product knowledge. Demonstrable skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Preference: PLM knowledge. Personal Attributes: Rigorous and methodical. Strong interpersonal skills. Product-oriented. Dedicated and committed to assigned tasks. Able to work in a team. Capacity to handle multiple demands and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Background, Skills and Experience: Information technology: Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and PLM.
