WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
The function of the PLPV is to plan, coordinate, and help execute the validation plan in support of the product development process.
He/She is requested to manage periodic project reviews with KPI's, budget status, and management status reviews in line with IVP Guidelines and GPD3 Process
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Development of integrated validation plan (IVP) with clear definition and measurable targets according to product profiles, new content analysis, HARA, DFMEA and product requirements documents (PRD)
- Own IVP and presents the status of projects via Key Performance Indicators to Chief Engineering.
- Assess & monitor risk associated with the validation and verification activities (physical & Virtual) proposing mitigation and drive actions
- Follow issues to resolution and validation of resolution, providing additional information and data as required to the design teams.
- Own and Monitoring IVP (Integrated Validation Plan) actions integrating Virtual Validation, Driveline, EHSA, CPM and Supplier validation plans.
- Through the IVP development supply budget targets and monitor project costs throughout the development and validation phase.
- Coordinate with the PV site manager optimal test location (timing and cost)
- Run pre-test meeting to agree and define test procedure and acceptance criteria
- Manage completion of Engineering Sign-off documentation for program OKTS.
- Definition and management of PV CNHi milestones
- Promote the usage and make sure product validation and verification information are update in CTS.
- Management of vehicle inventory and vehicle depreciation budget.
- Management and control PIR validation activities.
- Assessment and verification of New Content Risk Assessment and own Proactive Activities (in charge to PV) in defining Reliability Growth Plan.
- Definition of fleet requirements and configurations for IVP.
- Own procurement plan for his specific project and own the assembly plan.
- Support the Chief Eng on Platform meetings.
- Drive homologation activities and define homologation preparation plan.
- Participate actively in design reviews to guarantee proper front loading or call specific test Eng.
- Own integration and execution of Engine Application Matrix defined by Engine installation Engineering
YOUR KEY COMPETENCES AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Mechanical Engineering degree or technical background desired
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in testing Department
- Experience in Project management
- Good leadership
- Good interpersonal and relationship skills (written & verbal communication skills required).
- Results oriented approach
OTHER INFORMATION:
- Tractor usage knowledge preferred
- Good (Technical) English language knowledge
- Flexibility to travel abroad
- Strong experience in problem solving techniques
- Able to work in a Multi-cultural environment with remote teams
- Ability to work independently with little supervision.
