Functiebeschrijving**:

To bring the Rigids and Vocational products and services offer in line with the local market requirements concurring to DAF Rigids sales and market share increase.

**Responsibilities & Output

- Collect, analyze, keep all information up to date on the market

- Perform product analysis and identify gap vs market requirements and report opportunities to the M&S Managers

- Enhance rigids knowledge toward dealers and Body Builders

- Support dealers' commercial rigids training

- Define and support Dealer and National M&S plan actions for rigids: Demo units, events, etc.

- Facilitate Subsidiary and dealers' rigids sales providing technical support including driving test (if allowed)

- Attend Headquarter product training and meeting and suggest product development based on local market requirement

- Body Builders relationship developments and management

- DAF Academy Driver Trainer: TTT with DAF Academy and local driver training

- Support Marketing rigids activities (national events, press release, press test)

**Report Line

The Product Manager reports to Marketing Manager of Subsidiary.

**Additional information

The role of the Product Manager focuses on rigids and translate relevant external information into useful internal development plans aiming the overall improvements of product awareness and sales performances in the concerned market.

**Jouw profiel**:

- Technical Bachelor's degree

- Knowledge of the national market, the transport industry and competitors

- Heavy vehicle driving license (not mandatory)

- Analytical and problem-solving approach

- Communication and negotiations skills

- English language intermediate level (B2)
