Product Manager Place of work - Parma About Us Gardner Denver, as part of the Ingersoll Rand Group, develops, manufactures and distributes a range of products sold throughout the world: compressors, blowers, vacuum pumps; we also provide after-sales assistance services to meet various needs.
Job Summary The person we are looking for will be included in the current team of three people.
This function will have the task to develop and execute an effective product strategy for the Lobe Blowers technology while ensuring profitable growth and ensuring our product range meets the needs of our customers from a technical and commercial perspective.
Detailed product definition, business case development, market analysis, and technical support, in addition to providing pricing structures, sales presentations, and Distributor & Sales company support.
Typical Job Accountabilities Manage, sustain and develop current Lobe product range across the Business Line portfolio to ensure targeted growth is being accomplished.
Develop and execute effective product strategies for Lobe product range within our key markets, providing the required level of competitor analysis, market analysis, and application information to identify short-, medium-, and long-term business opportunities.
Ensure the product development strategy meets the needs of our customers while maximizing profitability.
Support marketing activities and ensure appropriate marketing materials are available to support the strategic growth plans.
Manage the existing product portfolio through the product life cycle ensuring appropriate products are made obsolete in a controlled way and that appropriate aftermarket provision is available.
Develop and execute effective product strategies within the key markets providing the required level of customer communication, competitor analysis, and supporting sales aids.
Analyze the current product through the product life cycle.
Monitor costs, profitability, sales volumes, and market share and identify activities to provide growth.
Work with the regional sales structure to drive sales growth and improved profitability.
Education and Experience Sound educational background in Mechanical Engineering or Technical Marketing.
A degree or equivalent education would be beneficial.
Experience in Product Management, Marketing, Engineering, or relevant sales experience within the Blower, Centrifugal Pumps, Vacuum, or Compressor industries.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, autonomous, diverse, and evolving work environment.
High level of commercial awareness.
Ability to solve problems, a "can do" attitude, and a "hands-on" approach.
Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
English required; Italian is a plus.
Strong drive for results and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines & achieve targets.
