Position Overview We seek a Product Manager to oversee our European tour packages and supplier relationships.
In this role, you'll evaluate and select travel experiences across multiple European destinations, manage relationships with local suppliers, and ensure the quality and profitability of our tour offerings.
You'll work closely with our operations team to create compelling travel products that meet our customers' expectations while maintaining strong business relationships with our partners.
Key activities include developing tour descriptions, managing supplier contracts, monitoring service quality, and collaborating with various departments to optimize our product portfolio.
This position plays a crucial role in shaping our tour offerings and maintaining our standards of excellence in travel experiences. . Notes: We are NOT seeking a social media manager.
No relocation / No Remote or Hybrid Working Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain strong partnerships with European suppliers, including hotels, transportation companies, local tour operators, and activity providers, ensuring competitive rates and high service standards.
Research and evaluate potential destinations, accommodations, and experiences across European markets to create compelling and profitable tour packages that meet customer expectations and market demands.
Write detailed, engaging, and accurate tour descriptions and itineraries for marketing materials, websites, and brochures, highlighting unique selling points and essential information for travelers.
Implement and maintain a quality control system to monitor supplier performance, customer feedback, and service delivery, taking corrective actions when necessary to maintain high standards.
Collaborate closely with sales, operations, and customer service teams to understand their needs, challenges, and market feedback, using these insights to improve product offerings and processes.
Manage contract administration, including negotiating terms, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring timely upload of agreements and rates into the booking system.
Required Qualifications Resident in Parma / No relocation / No Remote or Hybrid Working Fluent in English with good writing skills Work Environment Full-time position (Monday to Friday, 9:00 - 18:00) Office location: Via Emilia Est, Parma International work environment Who We're Looking For: At least 2 years of experience in tourism, travel agency, or tour operator roles Strong knowledge of European destinations and tourism market Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail Good communication skills in English - additional European languages are a plus Ability to build and maintain professional relationships This is a great opportunity for someone passionate about travel who wants to grow in product management within the tourism industry.
Previous experience in similar roles is valuable, but we also value potential and enthusiasm for the sector.
