Dedalus is looking to appoint a Product Manager Anatomic pathology Information Systems (AIS) in the In-Vitro Diagnostics Business Unit.
This role will involve working with a development team and UX designers to create and build the ideal solution for customers.
Dedalus is seeking a domain specialist who is familiar with the analyser middleware landscape.
Italy, France, LATAM are the key markets for this role, although further geographic expansion is vital and needs to be considered in any roadmap planning.
Mainly tasks:
- Working closely with R&D and QARA to strengthen market leadership in Dedalus key markets and expand geographical representations.
- Overseeing the assigned product lifecycle management process.
- Developing and managing the assigned product roadmap
- Managing the assigned product backlog
- Collate and prioritise internal and external stakeholder input on features and priorities
- Performing win/loss analyses on completed procurements
- Working up detailed user/customer/buyer personas
- Conducting competitor research
- Overseeing the creation of sales and marketing tools
- Organising and participating in initiatives to capture the Voice of the Customer
- Integrating customer feedback into development programs.
- Supporting technical tender responses to drive market penetration and increase bid success rates.
- Delivering assigned product demos
- Creating and delivering training for sales, delivery and support.
- Partnering with stakeholders (internal and external) to enable successful development and delivery of the assigned product.
- Building and maintaining relationships with key customer groups and key opinion leaders (incl.
regular field visits).
- Managing and supporting exhibitions and reference sites.
- Developing sales strategies to proactively and reactively counter competitive activity and product challenges.
Required experience:
- Graduate degree (Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or Life Sciences) or equivalent.
- 3-5 years' experience with a mix of product management, product ownership, product design, or other relevant product related experience in the IVD software market.
- AGILE software lifecycle management
- Working in interdisciplinary and intercultural teams
- Extended knowledge on standard office software, ability to work with databases
- Proven expertise in planning, developing and implementing enterprise software
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional and multinational teams such as sales & service, R&D, finance, regulatory, quality assurance and/or other departments throughout the organisation.
- Multilingual, fluent English is essential plus a minimum of one other European language.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in using JIRA;
- Expertise in CE regulated fields
- Critical thinking skills with a strong focus on customers.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to perform multiple tasks whilst prioritising the most important.
- Ability to make informed decisions in the face of uncertainty and/or imperfect data.
- Excellent oral/written communication and presentation skills.
