In this role you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of marine fuel handling technology as the industry is transitioning into alternative fuels.
We're looking for a dynamic Product Manager who has a good critical thinking skills and a very strong business acumen.
As Product Manger you will be part of the Marine Separation & Fuel Supply Systems management team and will be responsible for the future roadmap of our marine Fuel Supply Systems.
In your role you will ensure quality, competitiveness, compliance, and lifecycle management of existing product ranges as well as gathering market and customer insights from the Marine industry to understand product and customer needs to develop and implement product portfolio roadmap and plan.
You will work closely with R&D, Global Sales and Engineering & Supply Teams.

About the job
You will be part of the Marine Separation & Fuel Supply Systems management team and You will work closely with other departments in Alfa Laval to develop a continuous flow of relevant topics.
In your role you will:
- Develop and maintain the product strategy and roadmap
- Ensure that common processes for quality & claims are followed and be the main stake holder for compliance decisions
- Secure the competitiveness of our product portfolio
- Understand market needs and initiate and drive various business development projects
- Collect market insights and translate them into customer needs
- Set and drive a sustainable balance between fast, market driven, product development and securing a portfolio that can be well maintained Communicate market insight to R&D, Global Sales, Engineering & Supply and other internal stakeholders
- Acquire deep competitor intelligence and support development of sales material.
In this role you are expected to travel up to 40 days per year.
What you know
- You have a technical degree
- 2-5 years of experience in product management or project management roles
- Background from maritime industry is a clear plus
- Experience in technical B2B sales
- You have proven marketing and/or product management competences paired with good understanding of technical sales
- Good in alignment and execution in a complex matrix organization
- Strong skills in English both in speaking and in writing
