Product Manager - CDMO Pharma We are looking for a Product Manager to expand our team, a person with a strategic vision, oriented towards managing relationships with commercial customers and supervising internal activities.
Responsibilities: The Product Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for our commercial clients, managing expectations and assuring that the products are delivered in time and as per requested quality. The main responsibilities will include:
Client Interaction: Primary point of contact for commercial clients, maintaining continuous communication to ensure their needs are met and expectations are managed. Internal Coordination: Collaborate closely with internal teams (production, supply chain, quality) to ensure that actions and plans are executed according to the established costs, timelines and procedures. Participation in Calls and Meetings: Actively participate in client calls and internal meetings, take minutes, define follow-up actions, and ensure their timely execution. Risk Management and Problem Solving: Identify risks, escalate, and facilitate resolution of manufacturing, supply chain, or quality issues that may adversely affect performance goalStrategic Visibility: Ensure a strategic overview of the product portfolio, managing priorities in alignment with the company's long-term business objectives. Technical Requirements: The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:
Strong Knowledge of the Pharmaceutical Industry and GMP: Previous experience in the pharmaceutical sector (preferably CDMOs) with a solid understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) regulations and their application. Fluency in English: Proficiency in English is essential for interacting with both international clients and cross-functional teams. Project Management Skills: planning and scheduling, which ensures efficient resource allocation and timely delivery; risk management, which identifies and mitigates potential challenges; and stakeholder communication, which fosters alignment and transparency among all parties involved. Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with all organizational levels and external clients, ensuring that all stakeholders are aligned. Proficiency in IT Tools: Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite, MS Project, strategic planning systems, and risk management tools. Soft and Hard Skills: Problem-Solving: Strong ability to analyze and resolve issues quickly, developing practical and creative solutions. Teamwork: Proven ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues from various functions within the organization. Leadership: Ability to lead and motivate internal teams, ensuring high quality and productivity standards are maintained. Project Management Certifications: PMI or equivalent certifications are considered a plus, as they demonstrate advanced project management skills. Results and Customer-Oriented: Focused on achieving tangible results while effectively managing customer expectations and ensuring project success. Ability to Work Under Pressure: Capable of managing priorities and deadlines effectively, maintaining multiple requests in stressful situations. Educational Background and Experience: Academic Qualifications: A degree in scientific disciplines (such as Pharmacy, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, etc. ) or Management Engineering with a focus on production processes. Experience: Prior experience (at least 2 years) in a similar role or in project management within the pharmaceutical industry. This combination of technical expertise and interpersonal skills is crucial for navigating the complex and regulated environment of the pharmaceutical sector, successfully managing projects, and driving continuous improvement in business operations.
Qualification and/or experience: Scientific degree (CTF areas, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, etc. ) or management engineering with a production focus. Experience in a similar role or project management, preferably in pharmaceutical contexts. Place of work: Liscate (MI)
