Product Manager

The Product Manager position reports to the Marketing Director, with an objective of growing sales and improving overall profitability, implementing annual marketing plans for product range(s) for the acquisition, retention and conversion of customers.
In this role, the Product Manager conducts margin analysis, market research, and in-life performance measurement to determine product forecast, positioning, viability, and profitability.
The Product Manager will create formal business cases and products, technical documentation and work between the various internal and external organizations to ensure product policy and processes are documented, and executed accurately.
Additional responsibilities include convention attendance, and product training.
Use of excellent communication and interpersonal skills is required, and the ability to provide information and service to a wide range of internal and external customers.
**II.
RESPONSIBILITIES**:
Marketing plan and tactics
- Assume a supporting role to ensure consistent implementation of marketing plan on their product range(s).
Marketing plan will address product/brand positioning, competitive selling strategies, new product introduction plans and product/SKU rationalization activities appropriate to each channel.
- Manage in-life product performance: sales, margin, conducting extensive numerical analysis using company data.
- Produce/Maintain technical product data sheets
- Report any quality issue to GMO
- Manage all product integration/launches/changes.
- Develop and implement marketing programs/initiatives (events, service, etc.
)
- Maintains ongoing network and communications with customers to gain market insights and stay abreast of competitive trends.
- Support the development, approval, training, and communication of new products/product changes to the various sales organizations.
- Consolidate, analyze national market and sales data on their product range(s), and give feedback on market evolution.
- Develop of communication and promotional material to increase patient acquisition rate, increase retention and generate incremental revenue.
- Build the marketing strategy in collaboration with other functions ( Sales, Finance, GMO. . )
- Will follow up on the implementations of all marketing plans
- Manage the Patient Service
Sales support
- Support sales force to execute promotional programs
- Manage product line rationalizations and new product launches, liaising with other departments.
- Attend all external relevant events/Congresses.
- Support local conferences and client events were needed.
- Train new associates on company and competitors' products and market
- Assesses tender specifications identifying the correct SKU to offer
- Co-travel with sales representatives.
Communication
- Develop strong working relations with various internal organizations including; IT, Sales, Finance and Operations.
- Regularly liaise with Marketing Manager, peers and marketing support.
- Provide a weekly/monthly report to the Marketing Manager, in accordance with agreed objectives.

ESSENTIAL COMPETENCIES OF THE ROLE**:
- Dynamic and decisive, as well as highly collaborative, with ability to work within multiple cross-functional teams.
- Analytical background with strong data analysis experience
- Marketing discipline, process and product commercialization expertise
- Adaptable to a fast-paced, high-growth, entrepreneurial environment
- Excellent written and oral communicator in both large and small group settings.
Engaging and dynamic presenter of often complex and/or clinical/technical information to internal and external audiences.
- Requires functional knowledge of Microsoft Applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Knowledge of SFDC, SAP a plus.
- Flexibility in working hours at times will be required

**V. QUALIFICATIONS**:
Education
- Bachelor's degree in business/marketing area, engineering, science;
Experience
** **Requirements
- Oral and written advanced level in _English_ is essential
- Two to five years product management experience;
- Two to five years of spreadsheet-based numerical analysis required;
- Two to five years computer experience (internet, windows, database, etc.
);
- Experience in product launches and implementation is preferred.
- Experience in medical devices and the health care area preferred
