**Trane EMEA Product Manager -Air-cooled Chiller & Applied Air to Water Heat Pump - Job Description
The Product Manager is a seasoned professional that works under limited supervision, ensures that the product and marketing efforts support the company's overall strategy and goals.
Responsibilities include managing the Applied Air-cooled chiller, and the Applied Air to Water Heat pump products through the product lifecycle, gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, _ _leading the definition of the product vision, and working in close collaboration with the sales teams and the functional teams.
This role demonstrates agility and resilience in everything he/she does. _
The Product Manager analyzes information, develops market-based insights, scans for market driven innovations, anticipates obstacles and opportunities and develops solutions to create forward-looking strategies.
This role develops product strategy roadmap and tactical execution plan for the product, including timelines goals, and investments that supports growth objectives.
The Product Manager understands the impact of connectivity and technology on the solutions and is responsible to develop and adjust the value proposition of the product/solution throughout its lifecycle and in accordance with the (mega)trends in the market.
The Product Manager operates within EMEA which includes manufacturing locations in France and Italy, area of responsibility is within the French manufacturing location.
Collaborates with internal experts and channel partners on customer requirements.
Will interact directly with customers.
Interacts with engineering to ensure product design, quality, reliability and profitability goals are met.
Engages and collaborates with functional partners in developing the strategy roadmap.
Communicates and promotes product portfolio to internal and external customers; Interacts with the sales teams to review and optimize our positioning for each product/service line based on performance.
**Qualifications**:
- 4+ years of experience needed; 4 year degree in Engineering; Marketing and Business experience is a plus
- Digital savvy
- Analytical skills and with ability to convert this into product / strategy definitions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Proven ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams without formal authority.
- Good knowledge of the HVAC industry with a focus on the Applied Air-sourced cooling and heating segments
- Demonstrate flexibility, agility, ability to face pressure and overcome internal/external challenges.
- Ready to travel extensively (Europe mainly) at times
