Product Manager, E-Mobility Sw And Hw Solutions

The e-Mobility Product Manager, Europe will be responsible for developing the business of Electric Vehicle Services related solutions and services in Europe.
This person will lead a high impact product management team focused on continuously growing the revenue of these solutions and services within this market.
A leadership position in a new corporate startup, E-Mobility, a managed service built on the best of the Gilbarco Veeder-Root heritage enabling fueling retailers, fleet, and other customers to provide infrastructure solutions to enable EV charging.
This position will be responsible for leading the E-Mobility product line from a product management perspective to grow overall revenue and margin tied to the product line.
The position will also serve as the main point of contact to manage Gilbarco's partnership/relationships for the product line for both software (SW) and hardware (HW) solutions.

**WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Develop and maintain product roadmaps, including feature prioritization and product definition and development including articulating clear and accurate market and product requirements, developing strong and compelling business cases to support requirements, and defining winning strategies/approaches where appropriate to engage third parties in developing and delivering solutions that open market opportunities and meet roadmap objectives.
- Create and execute sound strategies based upon solid market and customer analyses and to deliver growth plans.
- Lead solutions architecture development, collaborating with technical resources as appropriate.
Lead software selection to realize that architecture, including make/partner/buy decisions and high-level development/product realization planning.
- Understand market and customer requirements through robust VOC practices and sound competitive intelligence.
Own and share market insights for E-Mobility with the Gilbarco leadership team & other stakeholders to enable informed decision making.
- Develop and maintain relevant market models, that includes sizing, growth, competitive activity, customer, regulatory and technology factors to guide strategic discussions on target markets and to inform new product development, demand models, and competition trends.
- Identify and prioritize new markets / adjacencies for cultivation.
- Engage directly with customers or sales teams to support negotiation and enumerate key product benefits, differentiation, and positioning.
Also, clearly communicate these to sales teams and other internal stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities to expand Gilbarco's solutions via partnerships; develop and manage those partnerships.
**WHO YOU ARE
- Minimum Bachelors' degree in Marketing, Business Administration or Engineering; MBA or advanced management degree is preferred.
- Minimum 5 years' commercial experience; ideally in marketing, product management, NPI, or sales
- Demonstrated strategic marketing skills and leadership
- Experience launching new products and gaining customer acceptance/adoption of new solutions
- Strong technical fluency and aptitude.
Must be able to engage in technical discussions with customers, internal engineers, and industry experts.
Excellent communicator with ability to coordinate/facilitate differing views/perspectives from cross-functional team members.
Must be able to obtain organizational buy-in and support to initiatives and motivate individuals, both direct reports and indirect reports to achieve desired outcomes
- Strong ability to develop and maintain relationships with customers, able to distill what is truly important to customers, differentiate and confirm the difference between customer wants and unmet needs and the associated economic value; able to build and position customer specific compelling value propositions
- Able to conduct original market research and analysis and lead an organization in conducting these analyses, generating recommendations for management, adept at developing and maintaining competitive insights/perspectives for technologies & products/systems.
