FUNCTIONS**:

Working in the PM group in Rome, the PM will report into the Senior Product Manager based in Rome and will have a close working relationship with development and other group product managers.

The main objectives of the position is as follows:

- Capture market requirements and, together with the R&D Teams, define the product roadmap

- Provide tools to facilitate the presale managers daily work

- Own the product

- Facilitate cross-functional co-operation between the sales group and the development team, and manage quality assurance, release management and technical standards

- Champion the product and ensure its success in the market place

- Keeping pace with market trends and adapting the product life cycle to suit

- Support sales activities and product demo's

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- At least four years experience in wireless telecoms, telecoms and Internet technologies

- A broad knowledge of the mobile and telecoms market place

- Experience in a similar role and industry is essential

- A technical academic qualification in engineering of information systems or telecommunications

- Excellent communications skills, both oral and written

- A good track record in problem analysis and problem solving

- Detailed understanding of the software development life cycle

- The ability to translate customer requirements into software features

- Good management skills and must be a team player

- Solid command of the English language

- Availability to travel to countries in and outside Europe is required.
