Position**:

The Product Manager Leather Goods is responsible for product planning and execution of the Leather

Goods special projects category.

He/she works closely with the Design, industrialization, and external

suppliers and assures the flawless outcome of the product in the achievement of aesthetic target respect

of the delivery deadline, the quality standards, and the profitability required by the Company.

- Calendar

- He/She supports the category development calendar according to company collections deadlines

Prototypes

- Collaborates with the Design team to share and understand the design style

- Collaborates in the suppliers' selection and management process to create prototypes, guaranteeing

the respect of allocated timing and the achievement of design, quality, and profitability aims

- Participates in the fitting review of prototypes

- Orders the required materials for developing prototypes, assuring delivery times are in line with calendar deadlines

- Supports the process of finished product coding and DIBA compilation coordinating with the related team

Sample Collection and Pre-Production

- Manages the suppliers' relations and ensures the respect of the timing and the return resulting from sample collection and production

- Verifies and monitors that the sample items are in line with those required and respect the quality standards

- Participates in costs negotiation with external suppliers

- Collaborates at the early stage of development with the technical leather team to ensure material aesthetic and quality standards requested by the Company

**Profile**:

- Bachelor or Master Degree in Product Management or similar;

- At least 8/10 years of previous experience in the sector;

- Professional knowledge of Microsoft Office (in particular, Excel and PowerPoint), ProJ, PLM and/or SAP;

- Fluent in English (both written and spoken);

- Strong leadership in the management of employees and in the relation with suppliers and stakeholders;

- Excellent result-oriented, customer focus, integrity, reliability, and interpersonal skills;
