We are looking for a dynamic Product Marketing Manager to support the business line Industrial Air within the local division Compressor Technique.
In this challenging position you will ensure for the assigned products the growth targets (volume, number of units sold, market share, customer share, product mix and profitability) set by the Division.
You will continuously update your knowledge regarding both products and marketing and sales strategies by participating in all training and professional development initiatives.
You will be responsible to introduce KPIs that show the effectiveness of the marketing actions taken and share them with the Business Line Manager and Business Development Manager to show the evolutions and any corrective actions to be implemented.
Your activities will be:
- Maintain contact with Division Marketing for the products and Services assigned to you and collaborate in the practical translation of related marketing plans for their placement in the market
- Defining Price Lists and applicable discount levels for Direct and Indirect Sales considering factory costs, average market prices and profitability targets required and assigned by the Product Division
- Make available and keep up to date all information necessary for Sales to promote the relevant products using the CRM in use by updating the material necessary for sales (bid diagrams, data sheets. . . )
- Ensure an adequate level of technical and commercial knowledge of Sales by:
- use of online and in-person training
- product updates promoted by the Division
- working with the engineering department to finalize offers or orders to provide the technical information of standard product expertise
- preparation of price lists considering the street prices of competitors
- preparation of head-to-head comparisons with similar products of major competitors by informing the sales of standard and engineered products
- active participation in monthly sales meetings with slides showing puts of product strengths and weaknesses
- definition of a clear product strategy
- periodic presentation to management of achievements and strategies in terms of customer share and market share
- Contribute to the management of technical/commercial relationships in collaboration with the sales force for special Projects or Customers that are defined as needed
- Interact with the central Service for continuous verification and improvement of product reliability and with Aftermarket Marketing by developing strategies and solutions involving both the business lines (Aftermarket and product business line)
- Collaborate with other Product Divisions in order to maintain a common strategy that ensures the growth of the Business Area.
**Requirements**:
- Technical background
- Experience of 2-3 years in the same sector and in a similar role
- Experience in selling products through direct and indirect channels
- Marketing products experience for highly technical industry
- Aptitude to work on multiple fronts in a global environment
- English skills, both written and spoken, are mandatory
