Product Marketing Specialist
We are looking for a person who will join the product marketing team with a focus on Paper category in our Milan office.
Scope of the role Working within the product management Business Unit at Moleskine means being a total business owner and not just a marketer.
As direct report of the Paper Innovation Manager, the candidate will help in building the vision and strategy behind the category of products while developing marketing plans and driving innovation.
The person will work with a large cross-functional team to identify gaps and opportunities and put in place marketing plans that will contribute to the grow and profitability of the category.
Tasks and Responsibilities Strategic Development: Support in building the vision and strategy for the paper product category, aligning marketing plans with business objectives to drive growth and profitability.
Product Ownership : According with the Paper Innovation Manager, coordinate the full lifecycle of innovation products, from ideation through development to launch, as well as overseeing the management of carryover products to ensure continued market relevance and profitability.
Project Management: Oversee project timelines and coordinate activities across sales, marketing, design, and production to ensure successful product launches.
Assortment Planning: Develop balanced product assortments, determining pricing tiers that effectively meet market demands.
Market Analysis : Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, competition, and user needs, informing product strategy and development.
Identify new paper opportunities within global or local relevance.
Performance Monitoring: Collaborate in leading monthly category analyses, tracking performance against KPIs and recommending necessary adjustments.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams and maintain relationships with creative agencies and stakeholders.
Support the Business Unit with marketing presentation, catalogue update and trade toolkit elaboration.
Requirements At least 2+ years of experience in product marketing, or a related field.
Strong enthusiasm/passion for the brand, product, and design thinking.
Pulse on global market trends with strong analytical mindset and customer centric mindset.
Very strong excel and presentation skills.
High attention to details.
Results oriented, organized, and self-motivating.
Ability to act independently respecting company policies, guidelines, and strategies.
Great interpersonal skills.
Capable of building strong working relationships and influencing internal teams.
Willingness to challenge status quo methods and ability to work well under pressure.
Fluent in Italian and English, both written and spoken.
Flexible, adaptable, and positive attitude mindset.
