**WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
The Product Operations Manager will play a critical role in scaling and optimizing product management processes, ensuring teams are able to consistently deliver high-quality products.
This role will enhance existing and establish new frameworks and best practices for product teams, improve operational efficiency, and drive strategic projects that support product success.
The Product Operations Manager will create a "smooth road" for Product Leaders via 3 pillars: Processes and Practices, Training and Development, and Access to Information.
**WHAT YOU'LL DO
As a Product Operations Manager you will be responsible for:
**Operational Excellence and Continuous Improvement
- Implement and maintain tools, processes, and frameworks that help product managers deliver on-strategy products efficiently and with impact.
- Improve and facilitate Product processes like quarterly OKR setting and scoring, roadmap share-outs, and progress reports to ensure strategic coherence of work across the team
- Lead the establishment of new product workflows, templates, ceremonies, and best practices to standardize product development processes.
Continuously refine these processes for scalability as the organization grows.
- Establish and champion standards and practices for good Product documentation
- Collaborate with Ops/Enablement teams in other functions to share best practices, find efficiencies, uncover insights, and catalyze Product work
**Data-Driven Decision Making**:
- Develop and implement systems to track product KPIs across the portfolio.
- Partner with the Research, Product Marketing, Sales Engineering and Enablement, Analytics, and Data teams to ensure Product leaders have the data they need to make decisions
- Ensure data accessibility and usability for product managers to make informed decisions based on KPIs and customer insights.
- Drive the use of data in prioritization frameworks to optimize resource allocation.
**Product Operations Strategy Refinement and Development
- Fall in love with the "customer" (Flipp's Product team) to uncover new opportunities (needs, pain points, and desires)
- Proactively identify new strategies that can smooth the road for Flipp's Product team
- Size the opportunity and gain alignment from Product Leadership
- Partner with product leadership to align ProdOps strategy with the broader product strategy.
- Contribute to strategic planning initiatives by providing operational insights that drive product outcomes.
- Use data (qual, quant) to help the Product team identify resourcing and org design opportunities
- Champion Flipp's Product craft within and outside of the team
**Training and Development
- Train and onboard product people on tools, processes, and best practices.
- Drive the internal adoption of product management collaboration and productivity tools.
- Partner with Flipp's Learning and Development team to establish and maintain functional training programs that level-up our Product craft
- Liaise with 3rd party training providers to ensure we are bringing the highest quality learning from the outside in
- Provide ongoing support to product teams, ensuring they have the operational infrastructure needed to focus on product innovation and delivery
**WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- 5+ years in Product Management
- Strong understanding of product management processes and tools, including product development life cycles and agile methodologies.
- Demonstrated ability to implement process improvements and drive operational efficiency.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong fluency in English, to daily communicate with the Canadian colleagues;
