We have an excellent career opportunity for a Product Owner who will help ensure BricsCAD's high fidelity and compatibility with the industry leading CAD system and the. dwg (drawing) file standard.

**They will also be responsible for researching, managing, and prioritizing new feature and functionality requests for the BricsCAD Lite and Pro editions.

As a Core Product Owner at Bricsys, you will work closely with members of the product development organization.

You will take the lead to prioritize found compatibility issues and determine how they affect customer workflows.

You'll work each day to monitor the progress of fixes and enhancements to BricsCAD's. dwg fidelity and compatibility, manage the risks inherent in this work and own the creation and delivery of progress updates.

With regard to new feature development, you will work to prioritize incoming Feature Requests, analyze their suitability across customer workflows, and determine how they can be implemented.

You'll monitor the progress of these product enhancement Tasks, manage the risks inherent in this work and own the creation and delivery of progress updates.

**Key responsibilities include

- Work with senior development leads to estimate time-to-fix / time-to-implement, potential risks, and third-party dependencies that can affect each development Task

- Work with the UI/UX Design team to ensure that all new features deliver an engaging, delightful user experience, while remaining compatible with user norms

- Ensure that all feature requests are clear, understandable and within the product context

- Analyze the "true ask" behind the feature request, to help raise the usability of BricsCAD above and beyond a 1:1 mapping with the functionality found in competitor products

- Actively manage the Development Queue for fidelity and compatibility Tasks, and new product features

- Actively inform the Head of Product - Core as to Work-In-Progress (W-I-P) status and risks

- Inform Development and Product Leadership as to the status of these efforts

- Create reports for our monthly progress meetings with Business Leadership

**Your profile

- Deep CAD knowledge

- **Several years of professional, daily, hands-on-keyboard work experience with CAD software acquired either in industry or in a service/solution provider to Architecture, Construction and Engineering (ACE) businesses**:

- You have performed CAD-based design work, modeling and drafting as a primary job function, and have experience using recent versions of. dwg/. dgn-based CAD systems

- Knowledge of advanced LISP programming, drawings standards management, and CAD management is a definite plus

- You will always choose teamwork as your preferred method of getting the job done

- You are highly organized in your work, and strive to determine and deliver the pertinent level of detail for every task

- You are an excellent written and verbal communicator, with business-level English proficiency

- You realistically plan your own work, and work independently and reliably

- Knowledge of C++ / Agile software development is a plus
