Position summary

Nuance is looking for a product owner to its Security and Biometrics business unit.

A product owner is responsible to review and process market requirements and to transform them into clear and specific product requirements.

The product owner is responsible for the team's backlog and tracks the progress from design to delivery

The product manager will also be the people manager for a team of developers and QA engineers.

Principal duties and responsibilities- Work with Product Managers to review the requirements and understand the customer needs to define architecture and implementation plan- Grooms the requirements into concrete and well-defined user stories- Maintain prioritized product backlog- Lead scrum team's meetings, sprints planning and spring reviews- Providing vision and direction to the Agile development team and stakeholders throughout the project- Track the work progress and communicate delivery time estimations. - Make sure the software developed addresses the market need. - Communicate and work effectively with remote members and teams

Required skills:

- Previous working experience as a Product Owner for 5+ years. - BA in Computer Science, Engineering or similar relevant field- In-depth knowledge of Agile process and principles- Good understanding of cloud technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, microservice architecture)- Good understanding of software architecture concepts and principals- Experience with source code repositories such as GitLab or GitHub. - Good understanding of SDLC- Good understanding and proven experience in working with automated CI/CD pipeline- Outstanding communication, presentation and leadership skills- Excellent organizational and time management skills- Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills- Creative thinker with a vision- Attention to details

Preferred skills:

- Experience with security standards and certifications
