Partner with the best The Senior Engineer or Scientist plays a supporting role through both individual and team assignments. They must apply technical and business knowledge to ensure successful outcomes and work with cross-functional teams. They apply system engineering methodologies such as requirements definition, system architecture and integration, analyses, configuration management, and risk management in the design phase of products. This level may also require engagement with customers during the product definition and requirements gathering process for bids and proposals. Some individuals may be Team Leaders delivering technically and commercially sound products or services by setting and meeting project goals and objectives. Role Overview As a Product Service Gas Turbines Senior Engineer, you'll carry out Root Cause Analysis for major failures and contribute to the continuous improvement of the Gas Turbine portfolio while fostering Company policies and procedures to sustain world-class Quality standards. As a Product Service Engineer, you will be responsible for: Leading Root Cause Analysis, cooperating with laboratories (metallurgical analysis, oil analysis), design departments, and data scientists. Analyzing fleet data and recurrent failure modes to identify potential issues' leading indicators and propose relevant technical improvements. Cooperating with Remote Monitoring Centers to leverage data and analytics to support the fleet. Working closely with Service Technology and Contractual Service teams to manage customers' technical issues, minimizing impact on customer production while preserving engine integrity. Communicating effectively with both internal and external customers. Developing new products and services for IET customers. Fuel your passion To be successful in this role, you will: Have extensive experience within Design or Services Engineering organizations. Have a deep knowledge of Gas Turbines design, maintenance, and operation principles. Be familiar with Root Cause Analysis methodologies. Be a self-starter and willing to step out of your comfort zone. Be fluent in oral and written communication in English and Italian.
