The Production Development Specialist will be placed in the Electrification Products division of the ABB group within the Product Industrialization function of the Medium Voltage Business Unit of the Dalmine (BG) production site.

In this role your focus will be on optimizing the manufacturing process through innovation in a cost-effective way.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Management of new product development projects.

- Product analysis with a view to mass production and cost optimization (in close collaboration with R&D).

- Choice of the optimal production technology and make or buy analysis (in collaboration with Supply Chain).

- Product quotes and costs (in close collaboration with Product Management, Marketing and Controlling.

- Technical and economic feasibility analysis of moulds (shearing/bending/plastic moulding).

- Definition of the assembly and testing cycle (in close collaboration with Production Processes, Production and Quality) with communication of detailed procedures and instructions.

- Analytical data for production management through SAP-MES systems.

Detection of assembly times, estimation and balancing of the assembly line.

**Your background**:

- Degree in mechanical engineering with a bachelor's or master's degree.

- 2-3 years of experience in the role.

- Moderate skills in Solid Works or 3D drawings.

- Excellent knowledge of Excel and Power BI.

- Knowledge of SAP, AutoCAD, Office and FlexSim.

- English: written and spoken at C1-2 level.

- Motivated and interested in working in a dynamic and complex context.
