We are looking for a Production Development Technician to join our Electrification business.

The resource will support the Team for the developing, optimization and improvement of processes and equipment for the production of breakers and meters inside Smart Buildings division located in Santa Palomba plant.

The main activities will be the developing and implementation of mechanical improvement on production processes.

In this role, the activity will require to work with local and global internal team and external suppliers.

**This position reports to**:

Production Engineering Manager

**Your responsibilities**:

- Develop mechanical platforms for assembling, calibrating and testing machines.

- Define the process sequence, calculate the proper cycle time and implement improvements to machinery or production equipment.

- Support internal and external production during start-ups by training indirect and direct staff.

- Monitor the process performance in partnership with quality, maintenance and production engineering teams using Lean Six Sigma tools and methodology.

- Provide Supply Chain Management (SCM) teams with the proper documentation in order to support the supplier evaluation and agreements.

- Investigate and implement IoT technologies to create smart solution applicable to every kind of machine.

**Your background**:

- Mechanical engineering bachelor or master degree.

- Good knowledge of 3D Cad software (Catia and Inventor are preferred).

- Good knowledge of Office package (Power BI is a plus).

- Good knowledge of Italian and English.

- Teamworking attitude.
