PRODUCTION ENGINEER

In Settimo Torinese, Italy, is active one of the main production centers of L'Oréal Group in the world.

The plant's products are distributed in 30 countries.

The production site is a full expression of the industrial, social and environmental values of the Group: quality, the result of innovation and control in production, safety of the working environments, minimal impact on the environment.

Between 2005 e il 2020 in terms of environmental management, outstanding results have been reached.

The site is in fact carbon neutral since 2015 and since 2018 is also a waterloop factory, that is a production site which consumes water solely as a raw material for products and not for other uses.

In this way more than 40, 000 m3 are reused and therefore saved every year, equal to over 80 swimming pools of 25 m.

For our Plant, we are looking for an Engineer to join the Production team, reporting direct to Unit Production Director.

Key responsibilities: Collaboration with Performance, Quality and Safety Departments, ensuring compliance with safety and quality regulations and procedures and promoting a safe working environment.

Embrace a culture of continuous improvement, supporting the continuous improvement projects in the production department.

Analysis of department indicators, such as production progress, waste, quality, and safety indicators.

Follow up and support production planning management.

Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including operations, quality control, maintenance, and engineering, to achieve common goals.

Collect, analyze, and interpret production data; maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation related to the production.

Requirements: Degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Chemical, or related field) is required.

Previous experience as a Production Engineer in a manufacturing environment.

Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other process improvement methodologies.

Excellent knowledge of the Italian language and good knowledge of English; French is a plus.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in software applications and data analysis programs.

Good knowledge and application of Lean Manufacturing.

Excellent project management skills.

Other requirements: Excellent availability for interpersonal relationships with different stakeholders.

Comfortable and capable of communicating at all levels.

Involvement and motivation to work in a team.
