As a Production Engineering Specialist, you will drive improvements in production of material management in Switchgear Factory in Dalmine, Italy.

In this role your focus will be on optimizing the manufacturing process through innovation in a cost-effective way.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Material management with external and internal supplier.

Material management process improvement.

- Defining projects feasibility in accordance with master planner and production supervisor.

- Defining the sequence of the production process in line with material and investment budgets.

- Ensuring optimal efficiency in production methods, equipment performance and materials/components.

- Identifying and implementing improvements to the manufacturing process in line with cost, safety and timing requirements.

- Investigating new methods, technologies and changes in equipment and process design to meet specifications.

- Defining action plans and training relevant maintenance and production resources and personnel to ensure smooth implementation of new processes and a skilled, competent team.

- Consulting and working with production operators and supervisors to implement changes on the production line.

**Your background**:

- Student in Management, Mechanical Engineering.

- 2 years of experience in production/planning.

Demonstrated experience working on a production line (Supervisory experience is an advantage).

- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel (macro, pivot, etc.

).

- Good knowledge of English both written and spoken.

- Knowledge of SAP is an advantage.

- A strong focus on safe work practices and dedication to following all relevant workplace safety guidelines.

- A collaborative, solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills.
