We are looking for a Production Engineering Technician to join our Electrification business.

You will optimize the Production organization's assembly methods, processes and equipment to minimize labor hours in accordance with business strategies related to quality, efficiency, costs and safety.

**This position reports to**:

Production Engineering Manager

**Your responsibilities**:

- Define and manage the inventory of mechanical, electrical and electronic components of non-commercial production lines that could wear out.

- Support to the maintenance team to define solutions to reduce the number of maintenance interventions and support to the quality team to ensure that automated systems guarantee product quality.

- Monitoring of production process KPIs (e. g.

OEE, rejects, alarms) and periodic analysis of machine cycle time to verify correct operation.

- Analysis, definition and implementation of improvement solutions to increase the production capacity of plants where necessary.

- Use of the production line management system to enter new commercial codes, modify technical data, download test reports and analyze data.

- Implementation of product variants that have an impact on the production process and implementation of laser variants.

- Participating in department meetings together with the entire UPI support team.

- Supporting the entire departmental team to ensure orders are fulfilled on time and as shared with the UPI manager.

- Ensure that all instruments in the department are under metrological control.

- Implementation of technical proposals discussed with the departmental team.

- Preparing and sharing with the departmental team the technical documents required for the installed machines (machine working parameters, TPM cards, etc.

).

- Preparation of technical specifications for modifications/realization of new production processes.

- Management of activities with suppliers in the production areas.

- Training of operators and departmental teams after a modification or introduction of a new production process.

- Checking and improving the ergonomics of workstations considering the LPE.

- Definition of work tools and stock management to avoid production stoppages.

- Updating the department layout on the basis of production machine movements.

**Your background**:

- Experience in one of the areas listed below: maintenance (2 years), quality (2 years), shift leader in production (2 years), Product engineering (2 years).

- Five-year diploma in a technical field.

- Ability to analyze and problem solve.

- Good ability to interact with other company functions and predisposition to work in a team.

- Digital skills: CAD drawing.

- Basic knowledge of programming logic.
