Production ManagerThe Production Manager will be responsible for overseeing the manufacturing process, ensuring efficient production, maintaining high-quality standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in lean production methodologies and a proven track record of implementing lean principles to optimize production processes. The Production Manager will support the Plant Manager and the business in managing production and costs according to corporate rules and from a Lean Production perspective.

They will collaborate with Production Supervisors to manage production and with the HR Manager for the development and retention of resources. His/Her responsibilities include:Managing and overseeing daily production operations to ensure timely and efficient production of high-quality products in compliance with the Stanley Black Decker guidelines. Recording the production processes and guidelines with the support of production Supervisors to obtain a consistent operational view of the business. Checking and monitoring defined KPIs to evaluate production performance. Contributing to solving efficiency and productivity issues of the various departments by analyzing weekly results. Collaborating with the Supply Chain department to develop and guarantee the execution of production schedules, ensuring alignment with company goals. Leading the implementation of lean manufacturing principles and practices across the production floor. Utilizing lean tools such as 5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, and Kanban to streamline processes and eliminate waste. Conducting regular lean audits and training sessions for staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Monitoring the schedule of production projects and reporting their status. Collaborating with the Quality Assurance team to ensure products meet or exceed quality standards. Implementing and maintaining quality control processes to minimize defects and ensure consistent product quality. Addressing and resolving any production-related quality issues promptly. Supervising, mentoring, and developing production team members, promoting a positive and collaborative work environment. Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and promoting a culture of safety within the production team.
