The Role Production Manager The candidate will be responsible for: Developing a forecast definition of production scheduling for the Drug Substance and Drug Product departments based on technical characteristics, contractual and customer service commitments, availability status of resources, assumptions for new orders. Ensuring the production and storage of products are carried out in accordance with the required documentation to achieve the required quality in full compliance with cGMP. Providing the operational guidelines of the production process of the Departments. Verifying the correct preparation of documentation required for production activities in compliance with reference standards (cGMP) and company guidelines. Guaranteeing the approval of production-related operating instructions and ensuring their correct implementation and compilation in accordance with cGMP. Following audits of customers and regulatory authorities for the part of its competence. Planning production scheduling, in collaboration with other business functions; Monitoring raw material stocks in order to ensure production and optimize costs and storage; Coordinating with maintenance, production plan and budget needed to ensure safety and production; Collaborating with engineering/maintenance department for continuous improvement of department and development of new technologies; Ensuring the continuous improvement of the performance of the Integrated Management System for the protection of the Health and Safety of Workers in the Department and the Environment; Ensuring that production facilities are operated in a safe and environmentally friendly manner and that all employees are adequately trained in accordance with current safety standards. Personal Attributes Degree in scientific disciplines or equivalent qualifications. At least 5 years' experience in a similar position within the pharmaceutical industry. Good knowledge of the English language (written and spoken). Knowledge of relevant regulations (cGMP) Knowledge of main computer systems Excellent leadership and teamwork skills Problem solving Flexibility Reliability Accuracy Location: MILANO OVEST
