**About the role**:

We are currently looking for a Production Manager to develop and manage our plant in Mozzo (ITA).

You will be joining us to develop and accelerate further growth by placing a bigger focus on our Nutrition and Food markets.

Kerry have invested heavily in Europe over the last 18 months with 2 acquisitions dedicated to this growth markets.

**Key responsibilities**:

**So what will you be doing?

- You'll contribute to produce the needed products according to the procedures and working instructions

- specified by the customers, in the quantity requested by the Production Plan, with the

- quality requested by Kerry and by the Customer.

- You'll proactively continuously improve production, by measuring, analyzing and identifying

- actions to:

- You'll help to reduce Start-up, Change-Over, Shut-Down Times, Re-scheduling and production costs.

- You'll be in charge of equipment maintenance and repair as well as defect Analysis

- You'll identify how to organize teams and shifts in terms of number of operators, supervisors,

- team leaders in order to best meet and improve the costs efficiency

- processes and comply with the annual ISO Certification.

- You'll adhere to all safety guidelines and actively promote a safety conscious attitude within

- his / her department.

Make sure that the appropriate safety measures are put in place,

- point out dangerous situations, check and demand that the employees comply with the

- safety rules and use accident coverage means.

**What do I need to be successful?

In order to be successful in this role we would be looking for the right competencies and aptitudes as well as your proven track record of success.

These include:

- Previous Production managerial experience

- Experience in the Production function and/or in the local Operations and/or in Kerry

- Knowledge in ERP Systems

- University Degree; preferred in Engineering or equivalent culture.

- Knowledge of the best production methodologies (Total Quality Management, OEE, HACCP,

- Just-in-Time, Kanban, Kaizen, Total Productive Maintenance, Lean Manufacturing, etc.

)

- Good Knowledge of English
