The Production Manager is responsible for leading and optimizing the production processes, ensuring production plans are fulfilled.

This role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities, including ensuring safety, quality, efficiency, and leadership of the team in production.

Your TasksFoster a safety-conscious culture and maintain a secure working environmentOrganize and supervise the implementation of 5S activities to enhance workplace organization and cleanliness across all production areasLead efforts to achieve LEAN productionEnsure that production consistently meets quality standards, customer specifications, and that appropriate documentation is availableManage the production department to achieve efficiency and productivity targetsMonitor, optimize, and report on production performance from material reception up to delivery to the warehousePlan and execute departmental production plans to ensure on-time, in-full delivery of customer ordersDetermine resource requirements, including labor, raw materials, consumables, and shop floor equipment to ensure most efficient use of resourcesEnsure the control of product quality and adherence to quality criteriaImplement culture of ownership for quality in all employees of productionOrganize projects to align with production orders, delivery schedules, and cost targetsIdentify material, equipment, tool, and device requirements, reporting them to the Purchasing unit and monitoring fulfillmentLead and guide the production team, fostering performance and professional growthCreate culture of collaboration and ownership as per Franke valuesIdentify training needs for production employees and ensure these needs are metCollaborate with the team to support new product launches and variant projects. RequirementsMinimum of 7+ years of experience in production, particularly in processes and technologies similar to the core processes which this role is accountable forProven track record in managing a diverse product portfolioSignificant experience in a managerial role in a manufacturing company, preferably with multinational companiesThorough understanding of quality standards and health and safety regulationsStrong expertise in production planning and executionProactive and results-driven with a "can-do" attitude. Ability to analyse and present data and draw conclusionsAbility to challenge the status quo and work effectively under pressure. Exceptional organizational skills and the capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Demonstrated ability to work with senior stakeholders and manage their expectations.
