Monzambano facility is part of the Noise Vibration and Harshness Division EMEA (NVH).
Production includes RTM (rubber to metal), CMP (compound) and EMS (electro mechanichal systems) value streams.
**Position Summary
The production manager has a broad responsibility and leadership for the day-to-day management of production in Monzambano, as well as for driving the growth of the facility.
Reporting into the plant manager he/she leads the Parker Lean System and the Win Strategy and manages the resources (human, capital and material) to ensure compliance with established metrics (customer service, profitability, safety, productivity, human resources development) through continuous improvement within the facility.
**Responsibilities
- Developing vision and business strategies at the operational level to support corporate goals; communicating the expectations and managing the information flow
- Providing guidance and direction to the production team members, creating an atmosphere of positivism and developing team work by enabling team members through the high performance teams, also creating an environment of trust in the organization
- Aligning change and continuous improvement efforts with the mission, vision and strategy goals of the organization, ensuring appropriate talent pool in the workforce
- Analyzing data and information to give appropriate guidance and priorities to the production
- Driving the Parker Lean System implementation by conducting run the business; supporting High-Performance Teams by conducting daily Gemba walk; providing leadership through example by teaching, coaching, and demonstrating to team members PLS tools help drive operational excellence
- Managing the daily efforts of production personnel for maximum effectiveness and customer service
- Supporting, driving and implementing lean initiatives for continuous improvement.
Supporting and implementing all the necessary inventory management programs to reduce material outage potentials
- Communicating with manufacturing support functions regarding process changes and methods for improving efficiencies and productivity in the plant
- Ensure appropriate support to planner to meet quality and on time delivery goals
- Responsibility and accountability to meet objectives as prescribed by the WIN Strategy concerning: Engaged People, Premier Customer Experience, Profitable Growth and Financial Performance.
** Qualifications
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree required with a concentration in engineering, operations, or equivalent preferred
- Min 5-7 years of experience in complex organizations in similar roles
- Italian and English speaker
- Proven experience in Lean projects / activities
- Desirable Black Belt
