Job Title: Production Operator for Space Optics ManufacturingMission:Production of optics for space application. Role:Being part of the AIT Team, the candidate will deal with the production of high precision optics in agreement with the company procedure in order to guarantee compliance to the requirements.

The candidate has to verify that the adopted material are compliant to the quality standards and has to monitor the process.

In case of out of specification, the candidate has to inform the quality manager and head of the production. Responsibilities:- Inspection of the parts - Reading data-sheet - Reading internal procedure and apply them - Bonding material mixing - Assembly of optical items - Check the materials and the various components of the optics during the acceptance phase - Set up, operate and monitor production tools and systems - Use specific tools and equipment for the production activity - Carry out production quality control activities - Carry out small routine maintenance interventions on tools and work equipment - Collect data relating to the production process - Report malfunctions and production defects to those responsible - Comply with health and safety regulations in the workplace - Drawing-up reports - Point of contact with Product Assurance and production responsibleEducation, Skills, Abilities Required:- High school degree or higher in technical matter - Knowledge of technical drawings reading - Knowledge of chemical principles - Problem identification and solving oriented - MS Office - Background in optics is a plus Ability to follow instructions scrupulously High Precision during the assembly
