Production Planner - Secondment

Key Experience Offer of this Role
- Planner will work as Site Ambassador within Pfizer Supply Chain Network, leading the conversation to effectively influence supply chain of assigned products
- Planner will work as a functional leader, managing and coordinating stakeholders to ensure a feasible and balanced supply plan in accordance with agreed service levels (days of supply), safety stock, appropriate raw material and supply plans, capacity plans and identified constraints.
Primary Responsibilities
- Production Planner is responsible to review supply alerts, to identify proposed changes to be prioritized and hand overed with the scheduling team;
- Planner actively participates to the Cross Site calls: flag demand signal issues; Identify network material supply issues and proposed plan changes; ensure alignment of the demand and supply signal
- Support a monthly demand changes analysis flagging substantial changes in demand and analyse the results with the planning team lead to evaluate the impacts and address any concerns with stakeholders.
- Planner has Plan Governance, balancing capacity and supporting the allocation plan with BSL guidance and handovering to Scheduling (in constrained supply scenarios)
- Participates in weekly supply governance calls to troubleshoot low stock issues and balance cost vs. supply trade-offs
- Planner is responsible to Review / update system supply chain Master Data and to Monitor the Key Planning Metrics and take actions to improve them; escalating metrics within Tier structure
- Planner is responsible for Inventory control of (API/DP)
- Planner works to Ensure inventory usage of network materials and avoids obsolescence by checking their aging and adherence to RIDS avoidance processes;
What You Offer
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor degree in Technical or Business field required (supply chain management, systems or industrial engineering);
- Demonstrated analytical, strategic thinking/planning, and problem solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in an environment of competing priorities with concurrent deadlines.
- Ability to work in a complex matrix organization with strong team work orientation.
- Ability to interact, build effective relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Fluent Business English written/ spoken language.
- Native or good Italian written/ spoken language.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in Logistics and Supply Chain Management in Pharmaceutical Industry or equivalent.
Experience in supply and inventory planning and operational execution.
- Understanding of the logistics and supply chain environment, process development, and ERP/advanced planning systems (e. g. , APO, ECC, BI) and best practices.
- Understanding of manufacturing and packaging activities.
- APICS BSCM, CPIM or CSCP certification.
