Production Supervisor
Job Description WORK TYPE: On Site LOCATION DETAILS: 611 W 3rd St Milan, MO 63556 WORK HOURS: Monday-Friday 8 AM-5 PM (To be specified prior to hire) HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT: The Production Supervisor is responsible for leading daily activities within their manufacturing department to ensure safe execution from all employees while delivering a high-quality custom-made band uniform. The Supervisor serves as the liaison between plant associates and plant management. WHAT YOU WILL DO: Safety priority maintained while assembling sample look alike garments following a production schedule. Adhere and follow production specs to build uniform. Verify associates meet specific build quotes to comply with customer delivery deadlines. Ensure correct use by associates of equipment and work aids. Maintain balance of production line. Complete daily production payroll reports. QUALIFICATIONS: KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES: Basic math skills, write legibly and read and understand English. Be able to train and develop associates. Attention to detail. Be able to interact with other department team members. Be able to identify issues in the process and ensure proper notification is given to the involved departments. Have sense of urgency, be on time for daily starts. Communicate your own attendance issues to production managers by calling in or texting. Ability to multi-task. Able to evaluate team members and handle disciplinary actions after enforcing what is led by example. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: 2 years of sewing experience. High school diploma. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to walk and stand for extended periods. Ability to lift up to 25–50 lbs (11–23 kg), depending on the industry. Good vision for inspecting products and machinery. Ability to communicate in noisy environments. Stamina to manage long or irregular shifts. Occasional exposure to environmental conditions like heat, cold, or noise. Compliance with safety protocols and wearing PPE.
