As a **Production Supervisor, ** you will own the manufacturing of our coating products to ensure safe production of material that meets customer and quality system requirements in the most cost effective and efficient manner.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Support Operations Manager and Plant Manager in order to arrange production departments.

- Continuously develop the cross-function team meetings and agree suitability of new products / equipment in order to meet future production requirements.

- Develop and Implement Improvement Plans to meet existing and future needs.

- Focus on Continuous Improvement.

- Manage Change within the work group.

- Planning and guarantee filling efficiencies reducing the downtime to a minimum, by cooperation other departments and laboratories.

- Agree and monitor Production Key Performance Indicators and Targets.

- Communicate and ensure understanding of Production Key Performance Indicators and Targets.

- Ensure all process Quality issues are investigated and Improvement Plans are in place.

- Manage and Improve Utilization of Assets.

- Work closely with Supply Chain in developing achievable and balanced Production Plans.

- Responsible for maintenance plans being carried out on the assets including risk assessment of any work and actual securing of specific kit.

- Manages areas e. g.

engineers/auditors/external visitors.

- Participate in budget setting (equipment / people / materials) and take responsibility for monitoring and controlling budget for own area.

- Ensure own team are trained and validated in relevant PPG Quality Policies, Procedures and Standards.

- Monitor, Evaluate and Review compliance with the above

- Actively promote and encourage a culture focused on Continuous Quality Improvement.

- All Quality related incidents have been promptly and thoroughly investigated and corrective preventative action taken where appropriate.

- Establish appropriate workforce plans and work with Operations Manager and HR to ensure that the plan has achieved.

- Ensure appropriate training and development has identified, delivered and evaluated to meet current and future Business requirements.

- Create and sustain a positive working environment that instills motivation and high standards of work and good industrial relations.

- Mentor, Develop and Empower the Shift Leaders to enable them to develop in their roles

**Qualifications**:

- At least an Associates degree is required, with a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent field.

- Proven 5+ years' experience in production and previous supervisory or management experience in a manufacturing environment.

- Outstanding interpersonal with strong communication, analytical abilities, attention to detail, and technical report writing are required.
