Professor Jie Li - Rmit University
AboutProf. Jie Li is a recognised expert in expansive soil, pavement geotechnics, recycled materials and ground improvement, with over 25 years of professional experience as a consulting engineer, researcher and academic. He has been awarded more than 20 research grants worth over $10 million, including Australian Research Council ITTC, DP and LP, and has published over 170 journal papers. He has made highly influential contributions to developing low-carbon and eco-friendly concrete and road pavement using various waste materials and industrial by-products. The findings of his team's research have been published in the top-ranked international journals and were featured in over 3000 mainstream and industry-focused media outlets.
