Program Buyer (M/F/d) Candiolo Location:

Candiolo, Turin, IT, 10060

We are looking for a new colleague in our department Program Purchasing at our location in Candiolo (Turin).

Your Tasks:

Ensure Project milestones are met in accordance with company Global Product Development process

Ensure component costs achieve commercial & business case expectations over life of product.

Monitor BOM cost as % of sales at a plant level and ensure actions are in place to maintain profitability on program-by-program basis

Identify target costs compared to current costs and drive action to reduce BOM by identifying opportunities with Cross Functional team and suppliers (VA/VE)

Coordinate commodity activities to enable sourcing time and costing

Represent purchasing in the project team, in Product Development Process and work proactively in preparing customer quotations

Your Profile:

Degree in Engineering preferred or strong technical background

Min.

3 years of experience in purchasing / project mgmt.

role, with track record in negotiation, decision making and working within a matrix team.

Experience in automotive and/or safety critical business is highly desired

A broad understanding of the productand production process underlying costs and the market cost drivers for such a portfolio

Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel and Powerpoint.

SAP experience preferred / Very good knowledge of English language

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to act as part of a global cross functional matrix team
