Program Cost Manager
Job Description Summary As Eurodrone Programme-Costs Manager, you will directly report to the Eurodrone Product Director.
In this role, you will closely monitor all activities affecting the Engine Finance-Accounting-Costs workstreams and work in close coordination with all key Avio Aero Functions, the process owners, and other GE Aviation entities to meet the Programme goals and targets.
Essential Responsibilities You will be an active part of the Eurodrone Team with the role to plan and report the costs related to the Programme activities. Keep the Engine business plan updated and support the CMR process in coordination with Finance. Create/update the Work Breakdown Structure/Cost Breakdown Structure in the Avio Aero system. Monthly estimate and input the "Estimation To Complete" for the work packages with special focus on the Contract and L808 accounts. Closely monitor the NREs and the whole budgeting process in coordination with Engineering, Procurement, AvioAero affiliates, etc. Monitor and report the Engine recurring cost in coordination with the Catalyst Team and updated learning curves. Follow the process of the Programme P. O. s and monitor invoices and all Programme charged expenses from Suppliers and other GE subsidiaries. Support the Procurement Team with issues that may arise with the suppliers. Closely monitor any cost charged for First, Second, and Third Engine to Test, along with costs of the "Paquito Engine" project with Airbus Defence & Space and their Suppliers. Monitor all the costs for activities planned at the Sangone test facility. Support the Programme/Gate Reviews and meetings with Customers and Programme stakeholders. Assure timely heads-up of issues and collaborate to resolve them. Qualifications/Requirements Bachelor's degree in mechanical/aerospace engineering. Consistent experience in aviation Programme Management working as Programme-Project-Cost Manager. Good knowledge of the main aspects of the whole engine on engineering, manufacturing technology, and production planning. Strong interpersonal leadership and ability to work in a multi-functional Team. Able to develop a network among peers and stakeholders. Able to prevent and identify Programme critical issues. Self-governance and self-determination. Ability to document, plan, and execute established projects, and management skills. Strong oral and written English/Italian communication. Available for frequent travel. Italian citizenship. Work Visa, in accordance with local regulations, is required. Desired Characteristics Problem-solving mindset.
