Role Overview

We are looking for:

We count on you for:

- Be an expert technical leader in sensors and actuators development utilizing electroactive polymers and materials.

- Demonstrate & drive the communication of Solvay material value to customers with marketing/commercial teams.

You can count on us for:

- Having the opportunity to build a program, bring & develop new expertise to the group

You will bring:

- Ph. D. in a field related to the fabrication, design of sensors and/or actuators, testing, processing of electroactive polymers & materials; Material Science and/or Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field.

- Prior experience with customer engagement and/or product development.

- 5+ years of management / project leadership experience in either materials science or electronics/device OEM

- Proficiency in business English

- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills and strong communications skills (oral and written)

- Creative, resourceful, hands-on, proactive, driven, results-oriented

- Aptitude for developing & growing strong relationships with customers, external partners & cross disciplinary teams.

- Aspiration for demonstrating and delivering the value of materials in the electronics market
