Join our team and Be You Be Aptar. Aptar is seeking a Program Manager, Global Sustainability based in Pescara area – hybrid mode.

In this role the candidate will be responsible for leading the Global Sustainability Teams through the implementation of emerging sustainability-related topics, as well as through the continuous improvement of existing sustainability initiatives, this candidate will ensure the company prepares for Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) regulations with strategic solutions that align with overall Aptar business goals. As a Program Manager, Global Sustainability, You Will Coordinate cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to integrate sustainability initiatives across all aspects of the businessWork with functional leaders to ensure all Aptar departments operate in compliance with ESG regulations and that their procedures, processes and tools meet disclosure requirements Support the development and implementation of the company's global sustainability strategyAssist with the collection, analysis, and reporting of sustainability performancePromote a culture of sustainability within the organizationhelp functional leaders identify data-driven information system to address ESG needsidentify areas for improvement in Aptar's sustainability practices, develop and implement actions plansWho We are Looking ForThe ideal candidate will have solid experience in international project management and in-depth knowledge of sustainability practices.

Furthermore, he/she has excellent communication and leadership skills, is able to work in multicultural teams and demonstrate a strong commitment to environmental and social sustainability.

EducationBachelor's degree in environmental science, sustainability, business administration, or a related field (Advanced degrees preferred)Required Skills Minimum of 3 years in sustainability management, ESG strategy, and related areasProficiency in sustainability reporting standards and carbon footprint analysisLeadership experience in a corporate setting, preferably in packaging or manufacturing industriesExpert project management and leadership skillsPreferred Skills Strong written and verbal communication abilitiesAnalytical and strategic problem-solving skillsAdaptability to evolving regulations and technologiesCertifications: PMP or Lean/Six Sigma (additional sustainability certifications preferred)Proficient in Microsoft Office SuiteTravel Requirements Travel: 15-25%Who We areAt Aptar, we leverage insights, design, engineering, and science to develop cutting-edge packaging technologies that enhance brand value for our clients and make a significant impact on people's lives globally.
