**How will you make an impact?

You will join a newly established team responsible for cGMP mRNA-based drug production and you will provide oversight and expertise to enable technical success.

As Program Manager you will provide a robust and efficient Program and Project Management service to support the unit growth.

Your active support to the leadership team of the mRNA unit will be instrumental in ensuring that all the required capabilities are in place in due time to meet our world-class Clients' needs.

You will also act as an escalation point to manage any contingency and ensure an efficient flow of information across all team members and internal functions.

In this role you will leverage your solid experience in program management, as well as leadership skills, in a highly dynamic and international environment, with direct exposure to world-class clients as well as the broader Thermo Fisher Scientific network.

**What will you do?

Provide a robust, efficient and professional Program/project Management service:

- Design/deliver plans for optimum client service also according to CEM approach (including escalation) and targets

- Lead program/project management team to meet and exceed objectives through the implementation of program/project plans.

- Assure that the program/project management team has all information/knowledge to delivery program/projects on time and within scope by contract, addressing issues/risks and finding resolutions.

- Build and maintain robust business processes supporting the activities of the Function.

- Provide an effective interface between the quotations and PM group and Monza, supporting an efficient and robust service to the client.

- Review the Changes of Scope and Program/project Expansions generated according to the internal costs.

- Assure that PM team has updated program/projects on Changepoint platform

- Provide full support to the Operational Excellence initiatives

- Work as part of the mRNA Leadership Team to support the success and expansion of mRNA platform at site level and when required.

- Contribute ideas and proposals to help formulate strategy where the impact may be felt up to five years into the future.

- Introducing new methods and practices to meet changes in strategic direction.

- Seeking opportunities for growth; lead or support new initiatives, including the promotion of continuous improvement in business, operational and GMP processes.

- Provide the vision and leadership that builds a commitment to Corporate objectives.

- Develop staff by setting objectives, appraising performance, identifying training or development gaps and constructing training and development plans.

- Lead or support departmental or site program/projects as required.

- Plan and utilize available resources effectively in order to achieve business objectives

- Interface: Working with mRNA platform leadership team to support the efficient scheduling of program/project activities.

- Forecast and maintain departmental budgets.

- Review program/projects performance and identify financial, business and operational trends.

- Support the Customer Allegiance Score initiative through the Organization

The Manager of Program/project Management will be required to take on additional responsibilities depending upon the needs of the business.

**Tech Transfer Project management**:

- Maintains continuous contact with clients, focusing on clients' requirements and the interests of the company.

- Generate key documentation including the, Technology Transfer Master Plan/Scope, Process Gap Analysis between receiving site and transferring site, Technology Transfer Report, Project Timeline and Action Item lists

- Contribute to the strategic definition of new business opportunities while meeting with the existing/potential clients, together with leadership team.

- Lead, track, follow up and monitor project activities to ensure alignment with expectations and agreed-upon timeline.

- Oversee planning, execution and closure of all Feasibility/Development/Scale up phase activities.

- Hold regular meetings and correspondence between internal and client teams.

**Communication**:

- To effectively communicate at all levels, internally and externally, adopting a professional approach to pro-actively influence and persuade others to accept decisions and recommendations.

- To promote the mRNA platform capabilities both internally and externally.
