What we offer**:

Responsible to systematically improve the ecologic footprints of KION's products and solutions by initiating, supporting, and monitoring projects at dedicated departments with an impact on Product Sustainability (R&D, Purchasing, and other) and to report the resulting improvements of the associated product sustainability KPIs.

**Accountabilities**:

- Review, improve and implement the overall Product Portfolio Sustainability Strategy periodically

- Identify certain improvement areas for sustainability using the internal and external sustainability ecosystem

- Specify associated projects in cooperation with the corresponding development unit

- Determine the necessary budget and achieving budget confirmation, as well as tracking budget utilization and compliance.

- Project controlling of the projects running in terms of content, target achievement, timeline, and budget

- Ensure that the sustainable solutions found find their way into the products, even if they should be associated with tolerable increases in manufacturing costs

**Interal Interfaces**:

- R&D, Purchasing and other CTO-departments with an impact on Product Sustainability

- Departments and experts responsible for (Product) Sustainability Reporting

- Departments and experts responsible for assessing ecologic and economic life cycle footprints of KION products (Lifecycle Assessments and cradle2cradle assessments)

- Departments and experts responsible for monitoring regulatory requirements on products' ecologic footprint

- Product Management, Sales, Service

**External Interfaces**:

- External sustainability ecosystem (Benchmark companies, lead customers, universities, )

**Tasks and Qualifications**:

**Professional experience**: Managing complex projects

**Qualification**: University degree on Product sustainability engineering or equivalent

**Competences and skills**:

- Keeping track on performance/quality/cost or similar results of projects/sales/production/quality or alike,

- accuracy and overview at the same time, and on comprehensive projects and complex matters,

collaborative and appreciative attitude,

- create and foster and steer collaboration within teams,

- English language
