Programme Leader - Visual Design / Design School
He/she guarantees the development and management of educational courses assigned, according with the expected scientific and quality standards, ensuring compliance with ministerial and regional accreditation requirements.
He/she ensures the coordination and development of the faculty of his/her reference area.
He/she ensures the quality of the students' learning experience through tutoring activities and individual supervision.
He/she manages and develops projects with the main industries in the luxury sector.
He/she guarantees the development of his/her curriculum vitae according to the standards established by the legal system and developing ad hoc research projects.
**Key purpose of the role**:
**Courses Management -** He/she coordinates the courses of the assigned teaching area: taking care of the development of the training courses, their quality, the compilation of the necessary academic documentation; supervising the results at an academic and scientific level according to the standards required by the legal system (ministerial / regional).
He/she is the referent of the scientific coordinators of the Post Graduate courses and takes care of their compliance and the obligations required by the law, having the responsibility of directly coordinating the faculty and ensuring compliance with ministerial requirements.
Actively supports the Director of Education in maintaining the required accreditation requirements and in achieving expected educational targets at the company level.
He/she collaborates with the academic department in the construction and design of courses.
**Faculty Management -** He/she is the contact person for the faculty of the assigned teaching area.
He/she monitors academic activities both in terms of quality teaching standards and in terms of active support to the teaching experience of students.
Ensures that the faculty meets company-wide quality requirements.
He/she is responsible for the scientific development of the CVs of the teachers assigned according to the standards established by the system.
Supports the Director of Education in identifying and training new teachers.
He/she works as a visiting professor at national and international level, according to business needs.
**Students' Tutoring & Supervisioning **- **He/she is the contact person for the students of the assigned courses, supports them directly in their training path and favors the positive outcome of the same (progression rate).
He/she guarantees weekly one-to-one interviews in order to provide a continuous tutoring and supervision service to the student.
With his/her activity he/she contributes to a positive teaching experience of the student.
He/she follows the assigned students in their thesis activities.
He/she guarantees the compilation of the student voice according to pre-set targets.
**Academic & Industry Projects **-** He/she actively supports in the identification and management of academic projects in collaboration with the main industries of the luxury sector (design).
He/she ensures the full implementation of projects at the academic level through the involvement of faculty and students.
He/she is the referent and responsible for the projects identified by the Third Mission carried out by the school.
He/she is present in moments of promotion of the school (eg open day, admission, career service activities) and collaboration with partner companies.
**R&D - CV Development -** He/she is the referent of the research and development projects assigned by the Director of Education.
He/she directly takes care of the development of his/her curriculum vitae according to the requirements of the legal system, annually strengthening its scientific, research and recognition activities in order to guarantee compliance with the requirements of the accreditation procedures.
**Education and professional skills
- Master Degree or PhD in Communication & Visual Design;
- Minimum five year's experience in the Communication & Visual Design sector;
- Ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to students, using clear and engaging language;
- Excellent attention to details, organizational skills and time management for planning and developing course content;
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in teams with colleagues, staff and students;
- Professional competence in the English language, both written and spoken.
