Exciting opportunity for a Project Architect at Reid Brewin Architects (Milan)Reid Brewin Architects (RBA) are looking for a talented and collaboartive Project Architect to join their busy studio in Milan. Founded in Paris in 2006, RBA is a multi-disciplinary practice specialising in science-tech projects such as data centres, laboratories, offices (including CAT-B fit outs), retail, and hospitality.
As a result, we employ a range of design specialits including architects, masterplanners and interior architects who are supported by a global operations team working across the RBA Group. From our studios in London, Paris, Milan and Madrid we work with national and international clients on projects across different sectors.
We pride ourselves on understanding the different needs of our clients and our focus on creating high quality sustainable buildings. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced Project Architect with a track record working across multiple sectors who is looking to join a growing practice. The roleYou will be leading on projects from concept to completion and reporting directly to the Project Director.
You will be leading an in house team of architectural staff as well as an external design team of consultants. What can you expect? This is a unique opportunity to lead on a range of exciting projects in a growing practice.

Here is a brief description of the applicant requirements:Developing the architectural designOversee the briefing processRecord the brief in the form of a report, minutes, and room data sheetsBe in charge of developing Accommodation Strategies, Feasibility Studies, and Utilization and Area ForecastsExamine and comment on project plansCreate deliverables schedules for all architectural teams and consultantsObtain and appoint sub-consultants and surveys as neededPrepare concept design proposals and develop the design using Revit Rhino Sketch up or other means that can be exported to. rvt. Brief and manage an architectural team in order to bring design proposals in a drawn format to lifeBrief and manage visulations that translate yopur intent to the client and team and 2D sills / 3D animation of the projectContribute to the Revit BIM model developmentCreate Stage Reports and any other project-specific reportsBe in charge of putting together the Planning Application PackageChair, record, and minute taking Meetings of the Design Team and Coordination MeetingsPresent architectural designs and reports at client project meetingsEnsure that the architectural team produces all necessary information for applications to all relevant statutory authoritiesCoordinate and lead the Design TeamDevelop and produce Data Sheets in collaboration with the clientMake certain that the design stays within the client's budgetPreparing detailed design and production informationProvide guidance to the Project Technicians on the programming of deliverablesHelp with the detailed design process and coordination of detailed design informationCollaborate with the contractor on Design & Build projectsParticipate in Design Team Meetings (DTMs), coordination meetings, and workshops, as well as present detailed design proposals.
Take minutes and prepare any necessary documentationExamine the Acoustic and Fire reports and incorporate the recommendations into the detailed design packageCreate construction specificationsCreate drawings, plans, and documents for statutory approvals, such as building codesContribute to risk assessments at the design stageConstruction on siteConduct site inspections and record the resultsAttend DTMs and site meetings, take minutes, and prepare documentationUsing Revit, prepare and present construction drawings/details as required by the contractorRespond to information requests from the contractorRequired skills and experienceA minimum 4 year's experience in a similar role is required Fluent in English is essentialExcellent design, communication, and presentation skillsProficiency in Revit in an office environmentPrevious data centre experience is highly desirableThe ability to work individually, with a good degree of self-motivationAn ability to communicate well with clients and associated professionals Our Offer to YouOpportunities to work with the Paris, London and Madrid teams with potential for travel and working from other officesThe chance to become a core member of our team, helping to shape our future as we continue to growSupport and time to undertake professional qualifications and development studies as part of professional development. 25 days' holidayCompetitive salaryHybrid working Please send your CV and work samples to ******.
